Building Communities of Educators and Educational Innovators
Throughout my career, I have viewed educational development as a community-building endeavour. Beyond research and teaching, I have worked to create platforms, networks, conferences, publications, fellowships and communities of practice that connect educators, educational leaders and researchers around teaching and learning innovation.
Contributor, Speaker, Educational Development Community Builder
Participated in and contributed to Singapore's National Technology-Enabled Learning (NTEL) community through educational innovation initiatives, learning technologies, Cyber-Physical Learning, faculty development and educational transformation activities.
Editorial Board Member and SoTL Community Contributor
Contributed to the advancement of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) through editorial service, scholarly dissemination and community-building activities. Supported the development of educational scholarship across the higher education sector and promoted evidence-based teaching and learning practices.

Led and supported the organisation of SUTD's annual Pedagogy Day, bringing together faculty members, educational innovators, researchers and external collaborators to share advances in teaching and learning. Established and nurtured a professional community of educators through the SUTD–Advance HE Educational Fellowship Programme. Provided mentoring, coaching and leadership development opportunities for faculty members pursuing international recognition of teaching excellence.
I believe that sustainable educational transformation requires more than individual innovation. It requires communities of educators who learn from one another, challenge assumptions, share evidence, and collaboratively shape the future of learning. My work therefore extends beyond teaching and research to creating platforms, networks and communities that enable meaningful educational change.
